What could be more American than a Soap Box Derby Race. This is a race car that participated in the 1964 National Championship.
It is a wonderfully constructed car in as found condition. The car was found in a home in Plattsburgh New York which was sponsored by the local chapter of the Jaycees. The racer was probably built in the 1950's and is all original.
The wonderful story is kept inside in the list of costs to build the car and the poem about winning that are attached inside. We are also including a wonderful group of memorabilia from the 1964 season and others.
The trophy being the prize piece and photos, plaques and newspaper articles. All associated with the history of this car. The car is 79" long with a 32" wheel base and sits 21 high.
