Up for sale is a Vintage Power 1:5 scale brass display model of a 255 cubic inch, 360 HP Offenhauser "Offy" racing engine. This powerful engine dominated the open wheel-racing scene for almost 50 years and is a huge part of racing history. This is a quality made, numbered, limited edition collectible piece nicely mounted on a wood base measuring approximately 7" by 9" with felt pad underneath, weighing about 5 pounds. This decorative collectible will show nicely on a desk, or display case, fitting into any collection. This piece is #VP 0174.
This item comes in original box. Engine was only out for pictures, never displayed. It has been packed away for many years.
Notice the top and front of the box shows some age spotting, but the other sides and bottom do not have any marking.
