This is a Lionel 2378 Milwaukee Road F3 AB Diesel Locomotive Set from 1956. The 2378 is among the rarest of the Postwar era F-3s and sought after by collectors.

Features include 2 powerful motors, a reverse unit, operating lights, an operating horn, die-cast metal trucks and metal wheels. The type III set has a thin yellow stripe running the length of the B units roofline but not on the A unit creating a miss-matched pair.
