6561 Cable Car, Produced by the Master Craftsmen of The Lionel Corporation, 28 Sager Place, Irvington, New Jersey, Circa 1953 or so. These cars are not rare, but finding one in this condition is quite the rare thing these days. 9 long and is all diecast metal, with metal trucks & operating couplers at both ends, which operate nicely. The cable reels are plastic, with real, metal windings. The original elastic band is loose.

These can be shortened or replaced fairly easily, should one desire to do so. I believe this car to be 100% original paint, parts & lettering. As you can see, the car is in absolutely GORGEOUS condition with the wheels showing zero running time. The original box is missing one inner flap and does have some tape repairs on the inside. Anyway, these old eyes don't see like they used to, so I ask that you take the time to "ZOOM IN" and look the photos over very closely, to determine for yourself just what we have here.
