Here is a beautifully restored Union Pacific (UPRR) Railroad Call Box Telephone from Hello Central Antique Telephone Company. This is NOT a reproduction Railroad Call Box, However a new professionally manufactured name plates were used to complete the call box. Several of these Call Boxes were made by the Railroad Accessories Corporation for different railroad companies across the country.

Each was modified for specific uses by these companies. The UPRR Call Box is made of cast iron with embossed an engraved identification plates. The UPRR Call Box has a Powder Coated Finish (baked on enamel). With professional hand painted lettering. A deeply embossed "Cross Section of Railroad Track Logo" with the manufactures initials "R A" is also located on the front door.

The UPRR Call Box Telephone has a Locking Front Door with a brass UPRR Lock and 2 Keys. Inside the Union Pacific Railroad Call Box you will find the telephone components including the operable Rotary Telephone Dial. This UPRR Railroad Call Box Telephone has been converted for use on today's telephone system. This UPRR Railroad Call Box Telephone will work fine with "regular" telephone company service without a converter.
