This is a super rare, circa 1938, souvenir pen from the R. This rare find comes in its original box with the original directions.

This pen measures 5-1/8" long x 7/16" in diameter. The refill is understandably dried out. However, it is the original ink refill. The side of the pen is engraved in gold with R.

The pen is fashioned in Black Bakelite and goldtone brass trim. This pen was from the launch of the R. Queen Elizabeth in 1938 and comes from the family of its original owner.

From the internet some facts about the RMS Queen Elizabeth. RMS Queen Elizabeth, ocean liner of the Cunard-White Star line. It burned during refitting in Hong Kong in 1972.
